Sardis Lake

Surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains, Sardis Lake is an absolute gem of Southeastern Oklahoma. Covering more than 14,000 acres and with 117 miles of shoreline, there is something here for everyone to enjoy. The lake offers all different types of recreational and leisure activities.

Opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, picnicking and simply relaxing on the shore abound. The well-kept facilities around the lake include a swim beach, playground, boat docks and pavilions. Public hunting and wildlife propagation areas have even been set aside on 8,435 acres of lush, undeveloped land. You’ll also find wonderful campgrounds that offer both tent and RV sites.

Sardis Lake is famous for its fishing, and produces several of Oklahoma’s largest bass. The stocked lake also provides opportunities to catch bluegill, threadfin shad, as well as channel and blue catfish.
