Robbers Cave State Park is located in the scenic, hilly woodlands of the San Bois Mountains of southeast Oklahoma. A favorite of rappellers, cave explorers, equestrians, hikers and ATV/UTV/Jeep enthusiasts, Robbers Cave enjoys notoriety as a former hideout for outlaws.
The park and adjoining wildlife management area offer acres of discovery and enjoyment including caves, trout fishing in season, swimming, boating, trails for hikers and horseback riding, sandstone cliffs for climbing and rappelling and fall foliage viewing. To make these activities accessible for all, canoes, paddle boats and horses are available to rent.
Rooms at the park’s beautiful lodge and cabins are available to reserve. RV, tent and equestrian campsites are also available, along with unique stays in yurts or a covered wagon. The park is also (in)famous for the annual Outlaw 100. Every February, this challenging 100 mile race brings brave trail runners and cheering spectators from all over for this single-track race through 15,000 feet of climb.
